Shipping Policy

Each plant is expertly pruned and watered before being packed and sent out. Potted plants do best when shipped in the Spring and Fall when daytime temperatures are below 75 degrees. We partner with UPS and the typical transit time is five days. Once you place an order, you will receive an email update with an estimated ship date. If you place an order when daytime temperatures in your area are too cold or too hot to ensure safe travel for your plant, we will hold onto your plant until the weather is right. You will receive a UPS tracking number once your order is out for delivery.

If you need to change the address on your order or the delivery date, you must do so before your order has shipped. Orders that are in transit cannot be canceled or changed. We cannot issue a refund if the address provided is incorrect or you are unable to receive your plant upon delivery.

We can not ship potted items to Hawaii or Alaska.

We stand by our Arrive Alive Guarantee!

Your plant is covered under our Arrive Alive Guarantee. If your plant arrives dead or severely damaged, notify us at within 7 days of receiving your order and we will send a replacement plant or issue a refund. You must submit the following photos for your claim to be accepted:

  • Photo of the box
  • Photo of the whole plant
  • Photo of the damaged area

All of our claims are handled by a real person, so you will be contacted within a few days by a customer service representative who will get your replacement plant shipped off.

Please note!

Many of our shipments will be made in multiple packages. Depending on what kit you order, we may ship the live-goods separately from the accoutrements (pot, tools, soil, etc.)
